I hear you. You're exhausted from "figuring it out" and "pushing through." Emotions have felt too big or too strong. At times, you've even felt numb or empty. You've been told you're "too much." Maybe you're at a point where you feel stuck or desire to feel heard.

It takes time to peel back the layers that have gotten us here, but it's not something you have to continue to navigate alone. As a therapist, you can expect a space that we build together; there is no one size fits all here. A space that is warm, curated, safe.  I aim to serve individuals who are struggling with thoughts of self-worth or self-compassion, navigating feeling safe with themselves or others, and living in their definition of purpose.

Some of my approaches include:

  • Shared decision making and goal setting

  • Exploration of ambivalence or barriers to change

  • Cognitive Behavior Therapy

  • Cognitive Processing Therapy

  • Self-compassion techniques

  • Somatic coping and grounding including mindfulness, emotion focused tapping, breathwork, and body scans

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing

  • Distress tolerance skill building

"Quite Frankly, I'm not sure that the answer is to entirely let down your guard or remove your armor. Rather, the answer seems to include intentionally creating moments of self- reflection, connecting to yourself and with others you trust or want to learn to trust."
