I provide individual therapy services for individuals navigating life after unhealthy relationships, sexual trauma, and general mental health challenges. While I am trained in modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, the root of my therapy work is centered on building a therapeutic connection that feels affirming, collaborative, and paced.

What areas of life can therapy help with?

Therapy can support with developing confidence, improving your relationship with yourself and others, and developing habits that are feel more sustainable and aligned with your needs. Therapy is not a "fix it all" space, but it is a space to identify your goals and needs and walk that path with a supportive voice alongside you. Individuals I've supported have presented with concerns such as:

  • Perfectionism

  • Self-criticism

  • People Pleasing

  • Boundary Setting

  • Sense of disconnection with self

  • Difficulty managing various emotions or feeling "on autopilot"

  • Relationship difficulties (trust, fear of vulnerability or intimacy)

Do you offer in-person and virtual therapy sessions?

Currently, my services are virtual/telehealth only. Please keep an eye our for possible changes or service additions in the future.

Do you accept insurance? How does that work?

For individual therapy services, I am currently in network with the following insurance providers: â€‹

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina

  • Aetna

  • Cigna

  • United Healthcare

Note: Cost per session will vary per insurance provider. Check with your provider and ask them to explain your outpatient mental health benefits and confirm that I am in network. Some insurance providers are supported by partnership with Headway/New York Beahvioral Health.

If you have a different insurance carrier, out-of-network superbills can be provided and used towards your out-of-network benefits. Your insurance provider can confirm what your out-of-network benefits are for outpatient mental health services.

If you are not using insurance benefits, my current rates are $165 per session. Limited sliding scale rates are available.

How do I schedule a session?

First step is scheduling a 15-20 minute consultation call. This call is intended to create space for introductions and questions to ensure that we both feel comfortable moving forward with an initial intake session. This call is YOUR time so please ask away. I do not shy away from questions about identity, political beliefs, or my values. It is important that you have a clear picture of who is supporting your journey and their values/belief systems.

Note: There is a current waitlist for new therapy clients.

What is your cancellation/no-show policy?

Appointments must be cancelled within 24 hours. If cancellation is not received within 24 hours, there is a $75 cancellation fee. For no call/no show appointments, you are charged the full session fee. Life happens, so I do hold space for two "free" late cancellations or no call/no show appointments. My time is important, but so is yours. Therefore, I hold myself to the same policy - two "free" cancellations. I will always communicate a cancellation and will never no call/no show or "ghost" a client. If there are concerns that impact your ability to attend scheduled appointments, I encourage you to speak with me as they present. Life happens.
